Tony Ray-Jones has taken many images of the British coast. Many of these were taken while he was travelling around Britain, he visited small costal towns and beaches. He shot photographs of unguarded people who weren't expecting anything. These images include a range of societies that were in Britiain at the time; this make the images more individual and I find this interesting. Many of the images contain a form of humour which adds a narrative to the images. Most of the imageswhich were taken of the coast were taken between 1966 - 1969.
